MANEUVERABILITY rating CALCULATOR

Maneuverability Rating is a 0-100 score that shows how quick a paddle feels, using a formula based on static weight, swing weight, twist weight, and balance point. A lower score means a quicker, more agile paddle, while a higher score feels slower and less maneuverable. Developed with input from top reviewers over six months, the formula provides a reliable way to understand a paddle's performance and feel.

How to read the numbers:
Maneuverability scores range from 0-100. However, in rare cases, paddles can score below 0 or above 100.

Lower score = quicker hand speed
Higher score = slower hand speed

A stock paddle with perfectly average maneuverability would score 50.

Static Weight: how heavy a paddle is when it’s not in motion; in ounces.

Balance Point:
point along the length of the paddle where the weight is split evenly between the head and the handle.

Twist Weight:
paddle’s ability to resist twisting or rotating in the hand when it hits the ball.

Swing Weight:
how heavy a paddle feels when you swing it.
